Vibrant Performance of MVNO Industry Bolsters Effortel 2011 Results

Brussels, 16 February, 2012 - Effortel, the mobile virtual network operator and enabler, today announced that revenue for its 2011 operations exceeded $20 million to deliver a before tax profit of $1 million. That revenue growth has been driven by the strong performances of both Effortel’s MVNO business and its MVNE business unit, which operates MVNOs for other brands through its managed service platform. Effortel’s MVNO partnership with Carrefour, Europe’s largest retailer, provides services in Belgium, Italy and Taiwan; and the company is now responsible for managing more than one million active subscribers for ten MVNOs in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
